Privacy
The short version: I use Google Analytics to see which pages get read, and only if you say yes. That is the only tracking here.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics. It tells me which pages people read, roughly where they are, and what kind of device they used. It does not tell me who you are. If you are in the EU, UK or Switzerland you will see a cookie banner, and nothing is loaded from Google unless you choose Accept. Choosing Decline is remembered so you are not asked again. Elsewhere, where consent for analytics is not required, it runs without a banner. Google's own handling of that data is described in their privacy policy.
The contact form
It posts to this site's own server, which emails the message to me and keeps no copy. It is not a third-party form service, so what you type does not pass through anyone else on the way to me. The fields are name, email and message, and I use them to reply.
The vendor read tool
What you submit (vendor, website, your email, and the optional notes) is stored on this site's own server so I can do the read and enforce the one-vendor-per-company limit, and is emailed to me. Your email is used to send you the read and nothing else. The read itself is emailed to you as a PDF; it is not published anywhere on this site, and the copy on my own machine is deleted after 90 days along with the request. Ask and I will delete yours sooner.
Server logs
The hosting provider keeps standard access logs: IP address, user agent, pages requested, timestamps. I do not add to that and I do not use it to profile anyone.
Nothing else
No newsletter, no advertising, no data sold or shared with anyone. If you want to know what I hold about you, or want it deleted, email me and I will do it.
